CFN98857 Wedelolactone

Wedelolactone is a potent Î2-arrestin-biased G protein-coupled receptor-35 (GPR35) agonist, GPR35 has been shown to be a target of the asthma drugs cromolyn disodium and nedocromil sodium. Wedelolactone has anti-inflammatory, growth inhibitory, anti-cancer, anti-fibrotic, and pro-apoptotic effects. Wedelolactone stimulates ER genomic and non-genomic signalling pathways; it can significantly inhibit the activation of LX-2 cells, the underlying mechanisms of which included inducing Bcl-2 family involved apoptosis, up-regulating phosphorylated status of ERK and JNK expressions, and inhibiting NF-κB mediated activity.
CFN97227 Rubiadin 1-methyl ether

Rubiadin-1-methyl ether probed as Type I photosensitizers. Rubiadin 1-methyl ether decreases the number of parasites (schizonts) in a dose-dependent manner, and 100% of inhibition was obtained with 30 to 40 micrograms. Rubiadin-1-methyl ether shows strong enhancing activity for adipocyte differentiation, it could be beneficial in the treatment of diabetes. Rubiadin-1-methyl ether has therapeutic potential against osteoporosis, it can promote osteoblast proliferation and inhibit osteoclast TRAP activity and bone resorption, and the inhibitory effects on osteoclastic bone, antiosteoporotic activity of M. officinalis .
CFN97253 15-Methoxypinusolidic acid

15-Methoxypinusolidic acid has anti-inflammatory effects, it inhibits LPS-induced iNOS expression and NO production, independent on MAPK and NF-kappaB. 15-Methoxypinusolidic acid suppresses adipocyte differentiation through the inhibition of PPARgamma-dependent adipogenic gene expression.15-Methoxypinusolidic acid attenuates glutamate-induced excitotoxicity via stabilization of [Ca2+]i homeostasis and suppression of oxidative stress possibly through the actions on the NMDA receptors.15-Methoxypinusolidic acid induced apoptosis in murine microglial cells, presumably via inhibition of the cell cycle progression.
CFN97694 Broussonin A

Broussonins A and B, new phytoalexins from diseased paper mulberry. Broussonin A shows estrogenic activity with ligand-binding activity of estrogen receptor, transcriptional activity of estrogen-responsive element-luciferase reporter genes. Broussonin A can significantly inhibit adipocyte differentiation in 3T3-L1 cells as measured fat accumulation using Oil Red O assay; it suppresses lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression at the transcriptional level through modulating NF-κB and down-regulation of the Akt and ERK signaling pathways.
CFN97695 Broussonin B

Broussonins A and B, new phytoalexins from diseased paper mulberry. Broussonin B can induce neurite outgrowth in PC-12 cells at concentration of 50 microg/ml, and show moderate inhibitory activities against a chymotrypsin-like activity of the proteasome.Broussonin B also can significantly inhibit adipocyte differentiation in 3T3-L1 cells as measured fat accumulation using Oil Red O assay.
