METHODS AND RESULTS:
The isolation of 6,7-dimethoxycoumarin (1), 6-methoxy-7,8-methylenedioxycoumarin (2), 5,6-dimethoxy-7,8-methylenedioxycoumarin (3), 6-hydroxy-7,8-methylenedioxycoumarin (4) and 5-hydroxy-6,8-dimethoxycoumarin (Arteminin) (5) is reported. | West China Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences,2007 , 22 (6) :679-680. | Determination of arteminin and its related substances by HPLC.[Reference: WebLink] | To establish a method for determination of Arteminin and its related substances. METHODS AND RESULTS: The analysis was performed by HPLC,using Agilent C18 column and a mobile phase of acetonitrile-water(65:35) with a flow rate at 1.0 ml·min-1.The UV detective wavelength was 205 nm. Linear range was 6.0-50.0 μg(r=0.9999).The average recovery was 100.1% with the RSD of 1.3%.. CONCLUSIONS: The method is simple,accurate,specific,and can be used for quality control of Arteminin and examination of its related substances. |
