Acta Botanica Sinica,1980,22(2):56-60. | Studies on Alkaloids of Cephalotaxus sinensis (Rehd et Will.)Li[Reference: WebLink] | METHODS AND RESULTS:
Seven alkaloids were isolated from Cephalotaxus sinensis(Rehd.et Wils.)Li and were identified by elements analysis, melting point and spectral data.Six of them are known alkaloids:cephalotaxine(Ⅰ),Ⅱ-hydroxycephalotaxine(Ⅱ),drupacine(Ⅲ), Demethylcephalotaxinone(Ⅳ),c-3epi-wilsonine(Ⅴ)and wilsonine(Ⅵ).
CONCLUSIONS:
Cephalo- taxine is the major alkaloid of this plant.(Ⅰ-Ⅳ)are alkaloid of Cephalotaxus type and another two(Ⅴ-Ⅵ)are alkaloid of homoerythrina type.(Ⅶ)seems to be a new alkaloid. Its structure wiltbe studied further. | J Am Chem Soc. 1975 Apr 30;97(9):2507-16. | Total synthesis of the Cephalotaxus alkaloids. Cephalotaxine, cephalotaxinone, and demethylcephalotaxinone[Reference: WebLink] | METHODS AND RESULTS:
Cephalotaxine (1), the major alkaloid produced by several species of Cephalotaxus (plum-yews), has been synthesized as its racemate in eight steps from 1-prolinol (4) and 3,4-methylenedioxyphenylacetyl chloride (3).
CONCLUSIONS:
Cephalotaxinone (22) and Demethylcephalotaxinone (19), minor alkaloids which normally occur with cephalotaxine, have been prepared as intermediates in this synthesis. |
