SYNTHESIS AND ANTITUMOR ACTIVITY OF PODOPHYLLOTOXINONE AND ITS HYDROXYIMINO ANALOGUES[Reference: WebLink]

METHODS AND RESULTS:
Podophyllotoxinone and its hydroxyimino analogues have been synthesized by oxidation and oximation.
CONCLUSIONS:
The results of their inhibitory activities against L1210 leukemia and KB cells in vitro indicated that they were generally weaker than that of etoposide.
