Acta Chimica Sinica, 1980(05):475-480. | STUDIES ON THE CHINESE DRUG, ACONITUM SPP Ⅻ. ALKALOIDS FROM XUAN-WU, ACONITUM NAGARUM STAPF VAR. LASIANDRUM W. T. WANG.[Reference: WebLink] | METHODS AND RESULTS:
Four crystalline alkaloids Xuan-Wu 1, 2, 3 and 4 have been isolated from the root of Aconitum nagarum Stapf var. lasiandrum W. T. Wang (a Chinese folk medicine). Xuan-Wu 1, 2, 3 and 4 are proved to be identical with Bullatine A, Bullatine G, Bullatine B and Bullatine C respectively by comparison of their physical constants, IR, TLC and mixed melting points.
CONCLUSIONS:
Therefore. the molecular formula of Bullatine A ought to be amended to C_(22)H_(33)O_2N and Bullatine G to C_(22)H_(31)O_3N. Furthermore, Xuan-Wu 2 and 3 have been proved to be identical with the known compounds songorine and neoline respectively and the structure of Xuan-Wu 4(i. e. Bullatine C)is proved by chemical and spectral studies to be a new compound, 14-acetylneoline.Nuan-Wu 4 has the formula C_(26)H_(41)O_7N, m. p. 198~202℃, [α]_D~(30)+42.9° (e, 1.5, chloroform). The following crystalline salts and derivative were prepared: the nitrate, m. p. 197~200℃, the perchlorate, m. p. 231~232℃ and the diacetate, m. p. 150~151℃. |
