Targets: | Antifection |
Source: | The fruits of Amomum tsaoko |
Solvent: | Chloroform, Dichloromethane, Ethyl Acetate, DMSO, Acetone, etc. |
Storage: | Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to 24 months(2-8C). Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20C. Generally, these will be useable for up to two weeks. Before use, and prior to opening the vial we recommend that you allow your product to equilibrate to room temperature for at least 1 hour. Need more advice on solubility, usage and handling? Please email to: service@chemfaces.com |
After receiving: | The packaging of the product may have turned upside down during transportation, resulting in the natural compounds adhering to the neck or cap of the vial. take the vial out of its packaging and gently shake to let the compounds fall to the bottom of the vial. for liquid products, centrifuge at 200-500 RPM to gather the liquid at the bottom of the vial. try to avoid loss or contamination during handling. |

The metabolism of 1,8-cineole after ingestion of sage tea was studied. After application of the tea, the metabolites 2-Hydroxy-1,8-cineole, 3-hydroxy-1,8-cineole, 9-hydroxy-1,8-cineole and, for the first time in humans, 7-hydroxy-1,8-cineole were identified in plasma and urine of one volunteer. For quantitation of these metabolites and the parent compound, stable isotope dilution assays were developed after synthesis of [(2)H(3)]-1,8-cineole, [9/10-(2)H(3)]-2-Hydroxy-1,8-cineole and [(13)C,(2)H(2)]-9-hydroxy-1,8-cineole as internal standards. | |

Fourteen kinds of alkyl esters of 2-endo-hydroxy-1,8-cineole(endo-2-Hydroxy-1,8-cineole) were synthesized, with yields of 57.8-98.0%. Each ester had a characteristic and unique odor. Especially, the tert-butyl acetate of 2-endo-hydroxy-1,8-cineole had the most interesting odor of all the synthetic esters. The antimicrobial and bactericidal activities of these synthetic esters against test bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas fluorescens) were examined using the broth dilution method. As a result, the tert-butyl acetate of 2-endo-hydroxy-1,8-cineole showed the highest antimicrobial and bactericidal activities against all kinds of the test bacteria. |
